Bac Giang Provincial Police organized a preliminary review of the first 6 months of 2024 and deployed tasks for the last 6 months of the year.

The conference took place under the chairmanship of Colonel Nguyen Quoc Toan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Party Secretary, Director of the Provincial Police.

Attending and directing the conference were Mr. Nguyen Van Gau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Le Anh Duong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Also attending were representatives of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security 's professional departments; leaders of the provincial police; leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors and police of units and localities.

In the first 6 months of 2024, the Provincial Police have achieved outstanding achievements such as the fight against crime, law violations, and social evils being directed resolutely, preventing the formation of criminal gangs, reducing murder, robbery, snatching, theft, and crimes related to black credit...

Mr. Nguyen Van Gau, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee, authorized by the President, pinned the Medal of Military Exploit on the Police Flag and awarded the Certificate to the collective of the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department of the Bac Giang Provincial Police.

The provincial police have proactively advised the Party Committee and authorities at all levels to issue many policies and solutions, effectively implementing peak periods of attacking and suppressing crime. Thanks to that, security and order have been ensured, political and social events, visits and working sessions of Party and State leaders have taken place safely and smoothly.

In order to effectively prevent and combat crime, the police force has investigated and solved over 450 cases, handling over 1,000 criminals, of which the rate of investigating very serious and especially serious cases reached over 94%. At the same time, the recovery of corrupt assets reached 94%, preventing the formation of complex drug hotspots and gathering places in the province.

The Provincial Police Department has promoted administrative reform, fully implementing essential public services of Project 06 and online public services in the field of Public Security, improving the effectiveness of administrative reform.

Increased patrols and controls were effectively implemented, the police force detected and handled 42,580 traffic violations.

Fire prevention and fighting work is focused on, fire prevention and fighting measures are deployed synchronously, ensuring safety for people and property.

Promoting the effectiveness of mass models for protecting security and order: The whole province is maintaining the effective operation of 3,237 models, 5,427 mass organizations in the movement for the whole people to protect security and order, 4,666 models of "Skilled Mass Mobilization" in all areas of social life.

The police force has investigated and clarified 7 cases, 33 defendants involved in high-tech crimes. Building a nationwide movement to protect national security in cyberspace.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Anh Duong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the efforts, endeavors and achievements of the Provincial Police force in the past time. At the same time, he requested the Provincial Police to continue to maintain the achievements, focus on performing well the key tasks in the last 6 months of the year, especially ensuring security and order for important political and social events of the province and the country.

Authorized by the Prime Minister, Mr. Le Anh Duong awarded flags and Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Public Security, and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to collectives and individuals.

On this occasion, 128 collectives and individuals were honored to receive Medals and Certificates of Merit from the President, Prime Minister, Minister of Public Security and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in emulation movements and in the fight against crime, protecting national security and ensuring social order and safety.
