Provincial police give gifts worth over 1 billion VND to support people affected by the storm

- On November 13, the Provincial Police coordinated with the Information Technology Development and Joint Stock Company and three brands Bimunica, ETU and Eurostore.vn (belonging to Au A Trading Joint Stock Company) to organize a gift-giving program to support people and kindergartens in two communes: Thien Hoa and Thien Thuat affected by the recent storm No. 11.

Attending the program were Major General Nguyen Tien Trung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department; leaders of a number of professional departments under the Provincial Police Department and representatives of local authorities.

During the program, the delegation presented 1,150 gifts, 500 cartons of milk and many essential necessities to households and preschool students in the two communes, with a total value of nearly 958 million VND; presented Yen Lo Kindergarten, Thien Hoa commune with a gift worth 175 million VND including: a cabinet for storing personal belongings, a cabinet for storing blankets, a study desk, a playground... for the school's students.

He said that before, during and after the storm, the Provincial Police force deployed response plans, mobilized maximum forces and means to promptly be present at the affected locations to stay in the area, help people evacuate, protect lives and property in the flood. At the same time, the Provincial Police called on many units, businesses and philanthropists to support gifts in kind and cash to support people in the province who suffered damage due to storms and floods. The gifts, though simple, contained the sincere feelings and sharing of the People's Public Security force and accompanying units, towards the people in the storm-hit areas with the spirit of "Mutual love and support".
