Vietnamese police search for another victim in collapsed house in Myanmar

This afternoon (April 1), the rescue force of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam continued to remove the body of a victim from the scene of a collapsed house due to an earthquake in Zabuthiri town (Myanmar). The victim's name is U Kyaw Win, 17 years old.

Earlier that morning, the Vietnam Ministry of Public Security's Search and Rescue Team moved from its station for about half an hour to arrive and carry out its mission at the 1,000-bed hospital, building number 5, Zabuthiri town, Naypyidaw capital of Myanmar.

Two police dogs detected and marked the area where the victim's body was found, helping the rescue team use a vehicle to take the victim out and hand him over to his family.

Here, after gathering information from the base, the search and rescue team's dogs and vehicles surveyed the scene to isolate the area and create a search map for the victim buried in the building. At around 11:45 a.m. (local time), the Vietnam Ministry of Public Security's search and rescue team was able to bring out the body of the male victim named Kaung Khant Kyaus (14 years old).

Thus, after 2 days of search and rescue, the Vietnam Ministry of Public Security's Search and Rescue Team has recovered 3 bodies of victims buried in collapsed houses after the earthquake.
