Bao Yen Commune Police successfully participated in mobilizing people to hand over the site for the Project.

Determining that the handover of the site for the Lao Cai - Vinh Yen 500kV transmission line project is an urgent task, Bao Yen Commune Police has promoted its core role in propagating and mobilizing the people to agree to hand over the site so that the Lao Cai - Vinh Yen 500kV transmission line project can be completed on schedule.

In the past, the work of statistics, compensation and site clearance for the Lao Cai - Vinh Yen 500kV transmission line project in Bao Yen commune has basically gone smoothly. However, at the beginning of July 2025, there were still 6 households with 51 people in villages 3 Thau and 4 Vanh in the commune that had not received support money and had not agreed to hand over the site. Some households requested additional support or requested resettlement land, causing certain difficulties for the construction work.

Faced with that reality, the Bao Yen Commune Police force proactively followed the locality, assigned officers to directly contact each household and individual, grasped their thoughts and aspirations, and closely coordinated with local departments, organizations and prestigious people to organize propaganda and mobilization according to the motto "slow and steady wins the race", persistent, flexible but resolute.

The 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen transmission line project is a national key project, with a total length of 229.5km with 468 column foundation locations, passing through many localities, including Bao Yen commune, Lao Cai province. This is a project of special importance to national energy security and infrastructure development in the Northwest region.

Through understanding the situation, it was determined that some individuals in the above group of households had a resolute stance of not accepting compensation, and made many inappropriate requests. The Commune Police coordinated to review the entire support process and policies; at the same time, promptly reported to the Provincial Police leaders, advised the Party Committee and the Commune People's Committee on appropriate propaganda measures, and individual mobilization for each household and each specific case.

Bao Yen Commune Police propagated and mobilized people to agree to hand over the site of the Lao Cai - Vinh Yen 500kV transmission line project.

With a sense of responsibility, synchronous coordination of forces and perseverance in mass mobilization work, by July 25, all 6 households subject to site clearance agreed to receive compensation, support and hand over the site to the construction unit. This result contributed to maintaining the project progress, ensuring security and order in the area.

The success in mobilizing people to hand over the site of the Lao Cai - Vinh Yen 500kV transmission line project has continued to affirm the core role of the Bao Yen Commune Police force in ensuring security, order, and socio -economic development in the locality. This is also a practical work of the Bao Yen Commune Police towards celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security Force (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025).
