The program aims to award the title of “Outstanding Enterprise” on the Alibaba.com e-commerce platform to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), helping them increase their product brand presence and reach global buyers more effectively.
The announcement was made within the framework of the Annual International Conference on B2B Online Export, co-organized by the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency, Ministry of Industry and Trade and Alibaba.com. The conference brought together many industry experts and representatives of Vietnamese enterprises to discuss innovative strategies and explore opportunities for online export promotion for Vietnamese enterprises.
Mr. Vu Ba Phu, Director of the Trade Promotion Agency, Ministry of Industry and Trade emphasized: “The program “Vietnam National Pavilion” implemented by the Trade Promotion Agency in coordination with Alibaba.com has become a model for trade promotion activities in the digital environment of Vietnam. This is not simply a booth on a digital platform, but an integrated, strategic trade promotion model, associated with the national brand, with a transparent business selection process and accompanied by comprehensive capacity building - support - connection programs from pre-transaction to post-sales”.
The selection process runs from December 13, 2024 to May 15, 2025, with evaluation criteria including product quality, performance on the Alibaba.com platform, and export potential in key industries such as agriculture, food & beverage, furniture, handicrafts, fashion and accessories. This year, the program focuses on supporting new businesses that have been operating on the platform for less than 3 months, to help them quickly integrate into the global digital economy .
Outstanding enterprises will receive comprehensive support to improve export performance, build product brands, and expand markets. Benefits include: increased visibility within the framework of Vietnam Pavilion, selected by the Department of Trade Promotion, Ministry of Industry and Trade and Alibaba.com, contributing to enhancing brand recognition and reputation in the eyes of international customers. In addition, the program also provides more than 100 in-depth training sessions, including: optimizing booth operations, product development, digital advertising, and cross-border logistics. These are essential tools to help businesses develop sustainably, promote online exports in the global market.
Data from the last 30 days of the 2024 program shows clear results: participating sellers recorded a 230% increase in inquiries compared to the average of the entire platform, demonstrating strong demand for Vietnamese products and the effectiveness of the program in promoting international trade.
Mr. Young Liu, Country Director of Alibaba.com Vietnam shared: “Vietnam Pavilion is not only a place to introduce products with Vietnamese identity but also a gateway connecting domestic enterprises to the global market. With 200 typical enterprises in 2025, we are demonstrating a strong commitment to promoting the digitalization of Vietnam's export industry and helping SMEs accelerate and affirm their position in the world market."

KAUS Company Limited, founded by Ms. Vo Thi Hoang Van, has grown to become a success story in the global F&B industry. By leveraging the Alibaba.com platform, V. KAUS has completely transformed its business model and in just two years after joining, the business has achieved a revenue of 3.6 million USD, of which 2.5 million USD will come from exports since 2024.
