The selected logo is the work of author Ho Sy Khai ( Dong Thap ). This is the result of the design process, consultation, appraisal and agreement with the National Assembly Office, to ensure solemnity, historical significance and aesthetics for the commemorative activities.
The logo features an image of President Ho Chi Minh casting his ballot. The image is presented in graphic language with strong contrasting tones, evoking the historical atmosphere of the early days of nation building after the country gained independence.
The dominant red color evokes the national flag, patriotism, the desire for independence, freedom and steadfast belief in the Party; on the red background stands out the yellow star - the sacred symbol leading the nation on the path of building socialism.

The background of the logo is a stylized number "80", evoking the milestone of 80 years of the Vietnamese National Assembly accompanying the nation, exercising constitutional rights, legislative rights, supreme supervision rights and deciding on important issues of the country. Behind the image of Uncle Ho is the National Assembly building, creating balance and affirming the role of the highest authority of the people.
The white ballot box with the Vietnamese National Emblem is designed simply, in harmony with the overall logo, expressing the people's trust and aspirations through the election ballot. The line "Commemorating the 80th anniversary of the first general election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026)" affirms the historical significance, the strength of national unity and the sustainable development of the National Assembly over eight decades.
This logo will be officially applied in propaganda activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first general election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly from now until early 2026.
