Time to review the 6th grade competency assessment exam at Nguyen Huu Tho Secondary School: The review form is posted on the electronic information portal of the Department of Education and Training (GD-DT).

Parents who wish to submit an appeal application can download the application, fill in all the information and submit it directly to Nguyen Huu Tho Secondary School from 2:00 p.m. on June 23 to 4:00 p.m. on June 24. After this time, the school will no longer accept appeal applications. The appeal scores are expected to be announced on June 27.

Parents complete the admission procedures according to Nguyen Huu Tho Secondary School's plan within 2 days, from June 30 to July 1. After that time, if parents do not come to school to submit their admission application directly according to the announced time, they will be removed from the admission list.

Ms. Pham Ngoc Nhi, Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of District 7, said that this is the first time District 7 has conducted a survey on entrance to grade 6, conducted only for one school in District 7, Nguyen Huu Tho Secondary School.

Previously, on June 15, 1,652 students participated in the survey to select 500 students for grade 6. Students took the survey with 2 contents: Multiple choice (30 minutes) in English and essay (60 minutes) including the following contents: "Reading and writing" competency survey; "Mathematics and logical thinking competency survey"; "English competency survey".

According to Ms. Nhi, through the actual situation, the students participating in the survey did well, the survey questions were suitable for the thinking ability and level of local students. Some multiple choice questions were quite interesting, related to local history and geography...

"Although this was the first time the survey was conducted, it was evaluated seriously and objectively, and parents and students felt comfortable. Because if they do not pass the entrance exam to grade 6 at Nguyen Huu Tho School, they can still be admitted to grade 6 at other middle schools in the district according to the regulations of the District 7 Primary School Admission Steering Committee," said Ms. Nhi.
