Announcement of the Project to adjust the general planning of Song Cong City to 2045

On the afternoon of June 24, the People's Committee of Song Cong city held a conference to announce the project to adjust the general planning of Song Cong city, Thai Nguyen province until 2045 according to Decision No. 1943/QD-UBND dated June 9, 2025 of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province.

At the Conference, representatives of the City Urban Management Department announced the content of the Project to adjust the general planning of Song Cong City until 2045, such as: Adjusting the planning to expand the infrastructure of health,education , culture, physical training - sports, trees, trade - services, urban areas in the city. Along with that, Song Cong City continues to be oriented to expand the land area to build industrial parks and clusters; reserve land funds to develop residential areas, social housing projects for workers.

At the conference, delegates also agreed on the main contents of the project, emphasizing the goal of developing a modern, synchronous and harmonious urban area between economic , cultural and social development with environmental protection and preserving local identity; spatial orientation, land use, development of technical infrastructure, social infrastructure and management of construction planning in accordance with regulations...

Project to adjust the general planning of Song Cong city, Thai Nguyen province to 2045.

The leaders of Song Cong City People's Committee also requested communes and wards to publicly post the planning drawings at the People's Committee headquarters and post them on the city's electronic information portal at songcong.thainguyen.gov.vn for people to know. At the same time, assign responsibilities to departments, offices, and residential groups to widely disseminate the planning content and implement management of construction order and land use in accordance with the approved project.

The announcement and implementation of the adjustment of the city's master plan until 2045 is an important basis for orienting sustainable development for Song Cong city in the coming time, creating favorable conditions to attract investment, improve the quality of life for people and complete the criteria for building a type II urban area.
