Bustling flower and gift market on Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20

The prices of flowers are equivalent to or increase by about 10-20% compared to normal days. In particular, the price of Da Lat roses ranges from 15-30 thousand VND/branch. Fresh flower baskets priced from 100-900 thousand VND/basket are currently chosen by many customers on this occasion. Besides flower bouquets, the most popular on this occasion are imported fruit baskets with fresh flowers priced from 500 thousand VND to 1 million VND/product.

Ms. Phuong Nga, owner of a fresh flower shop on Nguyen Ai Quoc Street (Tam Hiep Ward, Dong Nai Province) said: On the occasion of November 20 this year, the number of customers ordering flowers increased compared to normal days. The prices of flowers on this occasion increased quite high. Da Lat roses fluctuate around 30 thousand VND/branch. In addition, mini Phalaenopsis orchids and stone lotus flowers are also loved by customers and chosen as gifts to show gratitude to teachers.

On this occasion, bookstores, supermarkets, and shopping malls also launch many incentive and promotional programs, focusing on stationery, greeting cards, nutritional foods, fruits, cosmetics, etc.

According to the Marketing Department of Co.opmart Dong Phu, the supermarket has launched many big promotion programs on the occasion of November 20. Among them is the program "Gratitude for Vietnamese Teachers' Day". During the program from November 17 to 20, teachers who shop in the self-service area with a daily bill value of 500,000 VND or more (excluding the amount paid by trade discount) will receive a 30,000 VND voucher, and bills of 1 million VND or more will receive 2 30,000 VND vouchers.

Trang Phuc, representative of the Marketing Department of Co.opmart Bien Hoa Supermarket (Tam Hiep Ward, Dong Nai Province), shared: On this occasion, the supermarket is implementing a promotional program to reduce the price of gift boxes for teachers with a discount of 20-30%. The demand for gifts on the occasion of November 20th increased by about 10-15% compared to the same period last year.
