On the morning of June 20, at the 4th conference of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City - announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to end the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City from June 30 due to the merger of Ho Chi Minh City with Ba Ria - Vung Tau province and Binh Duong province.
The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City coordinates with relevant agencies to arrange and assign cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, hand over and manage finances and assets according to regulations.
At the same time, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has decided to establish the new Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee from July 1.
The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has submitted a report on the personnel plan of the committee and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City after the arrangement. At the conference, 100% of the delegates present voted in agreement with the personnel plan according to the report.
The expected number of members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City after the arrangement is 29 people.
The Standing Committee consists of a chairman, a permanent vice chairman and full-time vice chairmen. Of which, the chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City is concurrently held by a deputy secretary of the City Party Committee, and the permanent vice chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City is a member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee.
Vietnam Fatherland Front Ho Chi Minh City enters a new journey
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City - said that from this 4th conference, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City will enter a new phase with a larger scale, stronger potential but also more challenges. This requires increasingly higher requirements for the team working on the front.
According to Mr. Loc, recently the Central working delegation led by General Secretary To Lam worked with the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee and Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Party Committee. Here, General Secretary To Lam gave directions for the new Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and government.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City will absorb and concretize the orientations into the congress documents, with a strong, feasible action program, a clear roadmap and a commitment to implementation to the end.
Ensure that every decision and action program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City thoroughly grasps the spirit of "people are the subject, the driving force, the target to implement all goals and all tasks".
"This conference is the beginning of a new journey with the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City, a journey with Ho Chi Minh City for the whole country, with the whole country with a sense of national responsibility and the aspiration to reach the regional level," Mr. Loc emphasized.
