At the meeting, citizen Nguyen Dac Duong in Ninh Giang town proposed to expand the area of high-tech greenhouses to ensure high productivity and food hygiene and safety.
After listening to the citizens' petition, Mr. Phan Nhat Thanh, Chairman of Ninh Giang District People's Committee, said that agricultural production using greenhouse and net house models is effective and is being encouraged by the locality, but it needs to be in accordance with planning and legal regulations. Ninh Giang District currently has over 60,000 m2 of greenhouses and net houses, mainly growing melons and cucumbers.
The Chairman of the Ninh Giang District People's Committee assigned the Ninh Giang Town People's Committee to inspect and determine the origin of the land, review the planning to have a written report to the Ninh Giang District People's Committee and respond to citizens before December 31, 2024. Assign the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to guide citizens in implementing policies to support production development according to regulations.
