Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City Pham Minh Tuan acknowledged the efforts to improve the material and spiritual life of the City's Muslim people, especially for families still facing difficulties in life, which have made many changes and efforts to rise up.
Mr. Pham Minh Tuan also expressed his hope and trust that the dignitaries and officials in the Islamic Community Representative Board, the Management Board of Mosques and Minor Mosques, and Muslim compatriots in Ho Chi Minh City will promote the tradition of solidarity, accompany the people of the whole city and continue to make efforts to participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns launched by the government and the Fatherland Front at all levels...

Ramadan is a solemn holiday for the Cham people following Islam in the City and Muslims around the world . During the month of Ramadan, all Muslims will abstain from eating and drinking from sunrise to sunset. This year, the Muslim community in Ho Chi Minh City will observe the fasting month of Ramadan in the Islamic calendar 1445 - Gregorian calendar 2024, scheduled to start on March 11 and end on April 10, 2024.
