Morodok Techo Stadium (Phnom Penh, Cambodia) will be the venue for the opening ceremony of the 31st SEA Games. Right now, with only 8 days left for the 32nd SEA Games, hundreds of workers are here rushing to complete preparations for this important event in Cambodia.
With a construction cost of up to 160 million USD (more than 3.75 trillion VND), Morodok Techo Stadium is considered the pride of the Cambodian people with international friends, especially when the 32nd SEA Games is hosted in this country.
Right outside the Morodok Techo stadium, many workers are completing the landscape and installing equipment such as banners and slogans with the 32nd SEA Games logo as a way to promote this event to a large number of domestic and foreign tourists.
Notably, under the roof and underground area of Morodok, there are hundreds of tents set up for workers to eat and sleep right at their workplace.
The weather in Phnom Penh is quite hot during the day, so each tent is equipped with its own electric fan.
Workers take the opportunity to eat and rest after working in hot weather.
Another group of workers set up tents outside the stadium, under large trees along the walkways.
Everything like eating, drinking and bathing is done by workers at Morodok Techo.
The host country Cambodia hopes to bring a classy opening ceremony, so all the efforts and contributions of the workers are very practical.
Currently, the inside of Morodok Techo Stadium is closed to serve the general rehearsal for the opening ceremony. At the 32nd SEA Games, Morodok Techo will be the venue for athletics (at the stadium), swimming, diving, table tennis, badminton, tennis, basketball, kick boxing, Kun Khmer martial arts and field hockey.
