The Youth Union and youth movement of the province achieved many positive results.

DTO - On the afternoon of April 15, at the Hall of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the province, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union held the 12th Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee Conference (term XI), reviewing the work of the Youth Union and youth movements in the first 3 months of the year, and summarizing the Youth Month of 2025. Attending were representatives of provincial departments, branches, sectors, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; District Youth Union, City Youth Union and affiliated Youth Unions.

In the first quarter of 2025, the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement in the province achieved many positive results. Notably, the Youth Union at all levels paid attention to implementing well the work of propaganda and political and ideological education among union members and youth; developing new union members, admitting 8,036 union members, introducing 1,803 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration, with 167 comrades admitted to the Party. At the same time, revolutionary action movements were effectively organized, especially the youth volunteer movement, Youth Month 2025.

As a result, 1,600 volunteer activities were organized from the provincial to communal levels with more than 98,000 union members and young people participating in 1,550 youth projects and tasks with a total value of more than 26.4 billion VND. 155 "Digital Education for All" teams were launched, 14 "Youth Volunteers to Eliminate Temporary Housing" teams were launched, and 12 "Living Villages" models were implemented. Thereby, contributing to the local government in effectively implementing digital transformation, building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, protecting the environment and ensuring social security. In addition, the Youth Union chapters at all levels in the province provide career advice and orientation for young people, accompany and support young people in starting and establishing businesses, and taking care of children.

In the coming time, the Youth Union chapters at all levels in the province will continue to effectively implement the theme of the Youth Union Work Program and Youth Movement in 2025 "Dong Thap Youth is proud and confident in following the Party". In particular, focusing on strongly innovating the content and methods of operation of the Youth Union organization, building a strong Youth Union organization from the grassroots level; improving the quality of Youth Union branch activities and the capacity of Youth Union officials. Continuing to pay attention to political and ideological education, ethics, and cultural lifestyle for young people; implementing youth projects and tasks in the direction of "substantiality - effectiveness - sustainability" and closely following the needs of the community and locality. Especially effectively implementing the model "Worth living village", digital transformation of the community, application of technology in agriculture, and the program to eliminate temporary houses.

On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 28 collectives and 1 individual with outstanding achievements and contributions in implementing Youth Month 2025.
