DTO - On April 11, the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) Dong Thap Branch held a conference to honor excellent and creative workers in the period of 2020 - 2025. Mr. Nguyen Duc Hai - Deputy General Director of the VBSP attended and delivered a speech.

Over the past 5 years, the Provincial Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies has always promptly deployed and well implemented the Resolutions of the Party Committee and the Resolutions of the Board of Directors, regularly monitored, inspected and supervised to have positive solutions to excellently complete the set targets and tasks. In addition, the branch always identifies the goal of emulation and reward as one of the important tasks throughout the direction and operation process.

The emulation and reward work over the past 5 years has promoted the combined strength of collectives and individuals in the branch, which is the driving force to promote the spirit of striving to excellently complete the assigned political tasks every year. Through emulation movements, the branch has effectively implemented the State's preferential credit policy program, ensuring that 100% of policy credit capital reaches the poor and other policy beneficiaries, making an important contribution to promoting socio-economic development in accordance with the Party and State's orientation; ensuring social security, political stability, social order, national security and defense; developing human resources; gathering forces, developing members of socio-political organizations; strengthening and consolidating people's trust in the Party and State.

Every year, the branch successfully completes the planned targets in terms of capital, credit growth and credit quality; loans are disbursed to the right subjects, borrowers use the capital for the right purpose and effectively. Total capital as of March 31, 2025 reached VND 6,165,781 million, an increase of VND 2,785,366 million compared to December 31, 2019.

As of March 31, 2025, the branch has implemented 17 outstanding policy credit programs (an increase of 3 programs compared to 2019) with 5-year loan turnover reaching 7,554,164 million VND, 205,680 customers borrowing capital (average annual loan of over 1,510,833 million VND), 5-year debt collection turnover reaching 4,966,891 million VND. Total outstanding debt as of March 31, 2025 reached 5,937,450 million VND, an increase of 2,572,352 million VND compared to December 31, 2019, the average annual growth rate reached 8.7% with 185,250 customers with outstanding debt...

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hai - Deputy General Director of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies highly appreciated and commended the achievements in organizing emulation movements to excellently complete tasks and commendation work of the Dong Thap branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies in recent years, and congratulated the advanced models of the branch.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Hai assessed that the Dong Thap Provincial Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies has actively responded to and widely implemented emulation movements and campaigns of the Central Government, focusing on implementing emulation movements launched by the Prime Minister , the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, and the General Director of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies. The patriotic emulation movements were organized in a systematic, disciplined manner, with specific and practical content, associated with political tasks, key and urgent tasks, so they have spread widely among the staff and employees of the entire branch.

With the goal of developing the Social Policy Bank into an organization capable of autonomy and long-term stable development; maintaining its role as a public financial institution implementing the Government's social policies, focusing on areas that financial institutions operating on market principles cannot meet or can only partially meet, in the period of 2025 - 2030, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hai requested the Dong Thap Provincial Social Policy Bank branch to continue to promote efficiency, make every effort to complete the assigned tasks in accordance with the direction of the Central Party Secretariat in Directive No. 39-CT/TW dated October 30, 2024 on improving the effectiveness of social policy credit in the new period...
