Trade promotion activities of Vinh Long province in Japan were successful.

The delegation of Vinh Long province worked with Mr. Mitani Mitsuru - Chairman and Special Advisor of Mitani Sangyo Group - Japan. Also attending was Mr. Ngo Trinh Ha - Consul General of Vietnam in Osaka, Japan.

The trade promotion delegation of Vinh Long province in Japan led by Mr. Lu Quang Ngoi - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee completed the working trip with successful results as planned.

The results achieved have contributed to developing local diplomatic relations, promoting investment and trade between Vinh Long province and localities in Japan, and at the same time fostering the friendship between the two countries and the two peoples of Vietnam and Japan and between Vinh Long province and localities of Japan to be increasingly sustainable and constantly developing.

During the working days, the trade promotion delegation of Vinh Long province in Japan worked with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) on promoting cooperation and mobilizing non-refundable funding for sustainable agricultural development projects in Vinh Long province.

Visit and work with Wago Group on processing, developing trade of agricultural products and sharing experiences in developing the Agricultural Museum. Visit and hold talks with the government of Niigata province, Japan, promoting cooperation in various fields, including labor, agriculture and investment as well as working with universities in the province. Visit and work with the Consulate General of Vietnam in Osaka. Exchange and work with Japanese enterprises on promoting investment, trade, labor and employment in Japan.

All activities were assessed as successful as planned. Partners and units in Japan expressed their excitement at having the opportunity to cooperate and invest with units in Vinh Long province.

Mr. Lu Quang Ngoi - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Long province, head of the working delegation said: "To specify the working program as well as the upcoming plan of Vinh Long province in promoting trade and calling for investment, the sectors focus on reviewing administrative procedures, issues related to land allocation procedures, human resource training procedures so that when investors come to discuss and implement memorandums of understanding, we have full information, as well as issues related to the implementation plan, especially the issues that investors and businesses are interested in are the advantages, the issues that we invite, the commitment to implement in how long and the implementation results must be clear and accurate".
