Dak Nong Traffic Police help woman with heart attack get timely emergency care

On April 29, the Director of Dak Nong Provincial Police received a thank you letter from Ms. Vo Yen Duyen (born in 1994, residing in Cu Pong commune, Krong Buk district, Dak Lak province) expressing her admiration for the spirit of serving the people of the officers and soldiers of Road Traffic Police Team No. 1, Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police in quickly supporting her to be taken to the hospital for timely emergency care.

Traffic police quickly coordinated with local people to provide first aid and take Ms. Duyen to the emergency room in time.

Previously, at around 4:00 p.m. on April 11, while performing patrol, control, and traffic safety tasks on National Highway 14 (through Ea T'ling town, Cu Jut district), the Working Group of Road Traffic Police Team No. 1 discovered Ms. Duyen having difficulty breathing and fainting on the side of the road.

Immediately, the Working Group inspected and quickly organized first aid, and coordinated with some people to use patrol vehicles to take the woman to the hospital for timely emergency care.

Initial examination determined that Ms. T. had signs of a heart attack. Thanks to timely emergency care, this woman has overcome the critical stage.

Touched by the timely and humane actions of the Dak Nong Traffic Police officers and soldiers, recently after her health stabilized, Ms. Duyen and her family wrote a letter of thanks. In the letter, Ms. T. said: "During the pain, I saw two traffic police officers giving me first aid and then taking me to the hospital. Thanks to the timely emergency care of the police officers and the sense of responsibility of the doctors and nurses, I overcame the critical stage and my health has now stabilized. I am very grateful to the Dak Nong Police officers and nurses for promptly treating me and helping me overcome the critical stage."

The timely assistance to people in emergency situations demonstrates the sense of responsibility of "forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people" of officers and soldiers of the Traffic Police Department of Dak Nong Provincial Police, ready to be present when people need.
