At around 12:20 p.m. on May 13, a working group from the An Suong Traffic Police Team, Traffic Police Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police were on duty on Le Quang Dao Street, Hoc Mon District, when Mr. Le Cong Huu (a taxi driver) stopped his car next to the working group and asked for help leading the way to the hospital.

Through a quick exchange, it was learned that driver Huu accepted the ride to take a mother and a 2-year-old boy to the hospital. The boy was in a state of high fever, convulsions, and his body was purple. Because the road was crowded and he was not familiar with the road, facing the dangerous situation, driver Huu took a risk and asked the working group for help.

After receiving the information, the working group reported to the unit and used a specialized vehicle with priority lights and sirens to guide driver Huu's car to Tam Tri Sai Gon General Hospital (District 12) in the shortest distance and time. When the mother and daughter arrived at the emergency room, driver Huu was so touched by the "serving the people" action of the traffic police team that he burst into tears and hugged the traffic police officer to thank him.
"The child's mother was so worried about her child's dangerous condition that she lost her temper and cried the whole way, which also made me panic. Luckily, the traffic police helped!" - driver Huu shared.
By the afternoon of the same day, the boy's health condition had stabilized. Mr. Ta Bao Duy An and Ms. Nguyen Huynh Khanh Quyen (the boy's parents) sent their sincere thanks to the Traffic Police for their wholehearted help to their family during their most critical time.
