Accordingly, driver Nguyen Van D. (born in 1997; residing in Gia Lam district, Hanoi ) driving car with license plate 30F-326.XX was stopped for inspection by the working group of Highway Traffic Police Team No. 4 (Department of Road and Railway Traffic Patrol and Control Guidance, Traffic Police Department) led by Major Dinh Xuan Thanh while on duty at Km 458 + 200 of Highway QL45 - Nghi Son - Dien Chau - Bai Vot due to suspicious signs.
During the subsequent inspection, the police took a rapid urine test sample from driver D. and the result was positive for the drug Ketamine.
Along with that, due to the unclear attitude of driver D., the working group continued to check the vehicle and discovered two more packages of white powder (suspected to be drugs).
The authorities have drawn up a record of administrative violations, temporarily detained and sealed the vehicle and related exhibits, and handed over the case to the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Nghe An Province Police to receive, investigate and handle.
