Voters agree on streamlining the apparatus

BTO-On the afternoon of April 16, Ms. Bo Thi Xuan Linh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Provincial National Assembly Delegate and Mr. Bui Tan Vinh - Provincial People's Council Delegate had a meeting with voters at 2 levels (National Assembly and Provincial People's Council) in Hong Thai commune (Bac Binh) before the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly and before the regular mid-year session of 2025 of the 11th Provincial People's Council.

At the meeting with voters, the Provincial National Assembly Deputies and Provincial People's Council Deputies reported to voters the expected content and agenda of the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly and the expected content and agenda of the mid-year 2025 regular session of the 11th Provincial People's Council. At the same time, they recorded and responded to voters' recommendations.

Voters of Hong Thai commune expressed their high consensus on the decisions of the Central Government in the process of restructuring the apparatus, merging provinces and cities, and establishing two-level local governments. At the same time, they hoped that after the merger and streamlining of the apparatus, the Party, the State, and the National Assembly would do a good job in personnel work, selecting virtuous and talented people to participate in Party agencies and the State apparatus to wholeheartedly serve the people.

In addition, voters recommended that the province and district consider allocating capital to invest in the intra-field road from National Highway 1A to the first-class canal in Hong Thai commune to create favorable conditions for people in Phan Thanh and Hong Thai communes to transport agricultural products. Voters are interested in mobilizing the Fund for the Poor and allocating funds to support poor and near-poor households to help people improve their lives and escape poverty sustainably. In addition, voters recommended the early issuance of red books; support for the regime for security and order protection teams in the locality...

The voters' recommendations were noted and clearly answered by the commune-level leaders, the provincial National Assembly Deputies and the provincial People's Council Deputies at the voter meeting. Regarding pressing issues of concern to the people, National Assembly Delegate Bo Thi Xuan Linh suggested that local authorities should strengthen direct dialogue with the people to grasp their thoughts, aspirations and recommendations. From there, promptly resolve concerns and difficulties, creating consensus among the people. Regarding the Fund for the Poor, National Assembly Delegate Bo Thi Xuan Linh said: This is a policy of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to contribute to the implementation of social security. Every year, the "For the Poor" Fund at all levels in the province has mobilized to achieve and exceed the set targets. From this fund, the poor are not only helped materially by giving gifts, building houses, supporting economic development... but also promoted the tradition of solidarity, mutual love of the nation, arousing love and mutual assistance from each community. Thereby, helping the poor to gradually improve their lives, consolidating and developing the great national unity bloc.
