Delegation group No. 11, Hue City People's Council, term VIII, 2021-2026, chaired by member of the City Party Committee, Director of the City Police - Major General Nguyen Thanh Tuan and member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Khe Tre Commune Party Committee Le Thi Thu Huong had a meeting with voters in Nam Dong Commune before the 11th session of the City People's Council.

Representatives of Delegation Group No. 11 informed voters about the city's outstanding socio -economic situation in the first 10 months of the year and the plan to implement socio-economic tasks in the last 2 months of 2025; informed about the performance results of the City People's Council; and answered the opinions of voters of Nam Dong commune at the previous meeting.

At the meeting, voters raised opinions related to policies for non-professional commune-level officials; resignation under policy 154 but not yet paid; related to Thuong Nhat hydropower plant releasing flood combined with flood affecting land and crops of people but the unit has not yet compensated; related to records of meritorious people and policies for worshiping martyrs.

Voters also reflected that there were opinions and recommendations that voters reflected for many years but still had not been processed. For example, at the 7th session, voters proposed a production road for village 1, but the government responded that the planning of the Hai Nhat spillway - Ta Rinh lake tourist area was still slow, so they requested to implement it soon so that people could stabilize production.

Regarding the compensation for the area of Ta Trach lake that has been measured since 2012 and has not been resolved yet, voter Ho Xuan Han (Bha Bhra village) petitioned that most of the land and crops of his family and some neighboring households are submerged in Ta Trach lake, which is flooded beyond the allowable level during the rainy season. Mr. Ha hopes to receive support from the government for production land because for many years it has not been allocated, making life difficult, especially during the rainy season.

Voter Ho Van Cuong (Lap Village) said that after the recent floods, production roads are difficult to travel; the drainage system is damaged, causing flooding during heavy rains. In addition, some concrete roads are degraded but have not been repaired or maintained, making it difficult for people to travel. Currently, people have suffered a lot of damage to their crops, so support for people's crop damage is needed.

On behalf of Delegation Group No. 11, the City People's Council delegates and Nam Dong commune leaders took note of all recommendations, discussed and explained a number of contents within their authority; at the same time, committed to synthesizing and reporting at the upcoming Hue City People's Council meeting.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Dien commune organized a conference of delegates of the People's Council of Hue city and Quang Dien commune to meet voters before the end of 2025 session.

Mr. Hoang Dang Khoa, member of the City Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Hue Newspaper and Radio and Television; Mr. Hoang Phu, Deputy Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the City People's Council and representative of the People's Council of Quang Dien commune chaired the conference.

At the conference, many voters of Quang Dien commune made recommendations and proposals to the city People's Council delegates and Quang Dien commune on issues related to agricultural production and traffic infrastructure serving people's lives.

Many voters wish and expect that Vinh Tu Bridge will soon be invested in to build, both to serve the travel of people in the communes along Tam Giang lagoon as well as to stimulate tourism and services. This is a project that many generations of leaders, cadres, party members and people of the old Quang Dien district and the current communes and wards are particularly interested in.

Mr. Nguyen Luong Tri, Director of Quang Tho 2 Agricultural Cooperative, a voter of La Van Thuong village, expressed his opinion that the City People's Council delegates should pay attention to supporting policies related to damages caused by floods in agriculture and aquaculture. The dredging of Rao Cung River has not yet been completed, affecting the crop area of the people due to silting. Mr. Phan Phuoc, a voter of Dong Phuoc village, requested that the superiors pay attention to solving the transfer of the irrigation pumping station system to Dong Phuoc Agricultural Cooperative; and invest in more agricultural production machinery.

Many voters also agreed with the implementation of the 2-level local government model in recent times. However, other opinions also suggested that delegates should study to expand and invest in more sidewalks; rename Dan Dien bridge to Sia bridge; move low-voltage electricity poles located on residential land outside...

Based on voters' opinions and recommendations, delegates explained and clarified many issues; at the same time, affirmed that these were legitimate recommendations and proposals of voters.

Thereby, the delegates of the City People's Council and Quang Dien commune reviewed and re-evaluated each specific issue to adjust the plan to the actual situation; made recommendations and proposals to the city according to their authority. As for the Vinh Tu bridge project, the city has a policy, waiting for resources to invest in construction.

In addition to the leaders of Quang Dien commune specifically answering each issue that voters are interested in, Mr. Hoang Dang Khoa, member of the City Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Hue Newspaper, Radio and Television, requested the local government and the villages, departments and offices of Quang Dien commune to synthesize each group of contents to propose to the City People's Council, the city leaders and related units, departments and branches of the city to calculate the whole for consideration and resolution. All opinions and recommendations are considered with the highest goal of ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of the people and in accordance with the law.

Delegation No. 10, City People's Council Delegation had a meeting with voters in Thuan An ward before the 11th session of the 8th City People's Council, term 2021 - 2026.

At the meeting, voters of Thuan An ward sent delegates many opinions related to traffic infrastructure, educational facilities and people's lives.

Regarding traffic infrastructure, voters suggested a plan to ban cars or ban them by the hour on some sections of the road near Thuan An Primary School No. 1 to avoid congestion and ensure safety for students. Doan Truc Street is often flooded during the rainy season, dusty in the summer and muddy in the winter; people hope for investment to upgrade and develop a drainage system. Tan My resettlement area has not yet fully invested in traffic infrastructure, many sections are still dirt roads, affecting people's lives.

In addition, voters suggested connecting inner-city roads with National Highway 49B soon, especially when this area is densely populated. Hoang Sa route, used as a transport route to serve the construction of the Thuan An seaport overpass, is currently narrow and needs attention and funding to expand. An Hai and Truong Sa routes are also degraded and need to be repaired soon.

Regarding educational facilities, many schools in the area are degraded or flooded during the rainy season. Phu Tan Primary School is often flooded, lacks functional rooms and has degraded facilities, affecting the quality of teaching. Thuan An Primary School No. 1, although repaired three years ago, has now degraded again, with rainwater splashing into classrooms; parents and teachers want investment to upgrade. Phu Tan Secondary School also experiences flooding every time it rains heavily.

Other recommendations include: 4 inner-city roads have not been connected to National Highway 49B; fuel support for fishermen in 2024 and 2025 has not been paid yet; the lighting system in Phu Thuan and the old Phu Hai has not been invested synchronously, people have to contribute to lighting; Tam Giang bridge has not had lighting for more than six months, causing unsafety when traveling at night.

In addition, some aquaculture households that suffered damage due to storms and floods requested debt forgiveness to have conditions for re-production and stabilize their livelihoods.

After listening to voters' opinions, the representative of the City People's Council requested that specialized departments coordinate with the Thuan An ward government to promptly review and resolve each petition, prioritizing issues that directly affect people's lives. At the same time, opinions will be compiled and fully reported at the upcoming City People's Council meeting.
