On February 19, information from the People's Committee of Mong Cai City ( Quang Ninh ) said that after the 2024 Lunar New Year holiday, the border gates in this locality have become bustling again. Goods, people and vehicles are cleared safely and smoothly.

Mong Cai international border gate is crowded with tourists doing customs clearance procedures during Lunar New Year.
Specifically, on February 18-19 (ie the 9th and 10th of the lunar calendar), nearly 200 vehicles transported more than 1,000 tons of export goods to China through the temporary pontoon bridge opening at Km3+4 Hai Yen (Mong Cai City) with a total value of more than 4 million USD.
Previously, according to the 2024 Lunar New Year holiday schedule, the authorities at the Mong Cai International Border Gate (Vietnam) - Dongxing City (Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China) temporarily suspended customs clearance procedures for goods from February 10 to 17 (ie from the 1st to the 8th day of the Lunar New Year).

In addition to customs clearance, immigration activities are also bustling. Specifically, from February 10 to 18, there were about 60,000 visitors completing immigration procedures, most of whom were tourists.
