The Traffic Police Department has informed people who want to participate in online car license plate auctions about some important instructions and notes.

Specifically, the auction of car license plates is carried out entirely online, the operations are as follows:
Register an account: People who want to participate in the auction need to access the Online Auction Information Page at: https://dgbs.vpa.com.vn. Then, click on the "Register" section in the upper right corner of the screen to register an account.
After successfully registering an account, accessing the account, people can refer to instructions on how to use the account, list of car license plates, how to bid and other content on the Online Auction Information Page.
Select license plate: After logging into their account, people can select car license plates according to the options on the Online Auction Information Page such as: Province, city, vehicle type or any number series according to their preferences.
Deposit: After selecting the car license plate, the auction participant clicks on the "Register for auction" section next to the car license plate; proceeds to deposit the application fee of 100,000 VND and a deposit of 40 million VND into the account of the property auction organization (account number 141099999999, Agribank - My Dinh branch) according to the instructions, then the auction participant will be given an auction participation code, information about the auction of the car license plate that he/she has selected.

Auction: When the auction takes place, the auction participants access the Online Auction Information Page with their access account and carry out the auction procedure according to the auction regulations.
Auction participants can register to bid for car license plates from all provinces and cities nationwide.
In case of winning the auction, the auction winner can register the license plate of the auctioned car at the place where the auction winner resides or operates or at the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial or City Public Security that issued the license plate of that car.

Auction participants will have their deposit refunded within 03 working days from the end date of the online auction if they do not win the auction and are not in a case where the deposit is not refunded; they can refuse to participate in the auction and have their deposit refunded in case of changes in the starting price, quantity, or quality of the listed or publicly announced assets.
The refusal to participate in the auction must be expressed in writing and the auction participant must send the refusal to participate in the auction via email: dgbs@vpa.com.vn or send it directly to the Company 03 days before the auction date...
In addition, auction participants are responsible for providing valid, accurate and honest information and documents to register for the auction, participate in the auction and are legally responsible for the accuracy and honesty of the information.

Previously, implementing Resolution No. 73/2022/QH15 of the National Assembly on pilot auction of automobile license plates, Plan No. 340/KH-BCA-C08 dated June 29, 2023 of the Ministry of Public Security on implementing Resolution No. 73/2022/QH15 of the National Assembly, the Traffic Police Department announced the list of 153,104 automobile license plates of 63 provinces and cities to be auctioned in the first round.
