Ea Na commune was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population size of three administrative units including Ea Na commune, Ea Bong commune and Dray Sap commune (belonging to the old Krong Ana district).
After the merger, Ea Na commune not only has a new administrative position but also opens up many potentials and distinct strengths. Therefore, Ea Na commune clearly identifies focusing on maximizing the advantages of tourism, ecological agriculture and digital transformation to develop the locality quickly, comprehensively and sustainably.
Mr. Nguyen Nang Luu was assigned to take on the role of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ea Na Commune Party Committee after the merger, affirming that the announcement of the two-level local government is an important political event, marking a new beginning and development in the organization of a streamlined, efficient, effective and efficient government apparatus to serve the people better and better. After the merger, the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Ea Na commune continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, heroic and revolutionary traditions, determined to boost socio-economic development; ensure national defense and security.
In particular, the development goal is clearly defined as effectively exploiting the potential and unique advantages, gradually building the locality into an attractive destination for tourism , investment and innovation. With the advantage of having the scenic Dray Sap Thuong waterfall (Gia Long waterfall), Dray Nur waterfall has been recognized as a historical relic, a national scenic spot, oriented to strongly develop high-quality community - ecological - resort tourism. In the field of agriculture, Ea Na focuses on developing ecological and organic agriculture, associated with building a brand of typical OCOP products.

Mr. Uong Duc Trinh, Member of the Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Veterans Association of Ea Na commune, commented that the organization of a two-level government model creates conditions for the local apparatus to operate more effectively, while helping the grassroots government to be closer to and understand the thoughts and aspirations of the people. From there, the issued policies are close to reality, suitable to the lives of the people. The closeness to the people and the spirit of seeking knowledge of the grassroots cadres and civil servants not only contribute to improving the effectiveness of state management but also consolidate trust and strengthen the close relationship between the government and the people.
Similarly, Krong Ana commune (established on the basis of merging Buon Trap town, Quang Dien commune and Binh Hoa commune) soon completed its organizational structure and arranged personnel reasonably, without causing disruption in state management activities and people's lives.
This is one of the administrative units in the central location, converging all historical, cultural, economic and social factors. Therefore, the locality is focusing on exploiting the potential advantages to gradually build a civilized and modern urban area.
Arriving early to attend the historic event of the locality, Mr. Ha Thinh (Krong Ana commune) expressed great expectations for the transformation of the grassroots administrative apparatus: “I hope that when the two-level local government comes into operation, it will always accompany, listen and promptly resolve the difficulties and concerns of the people. Besides, in the context of digital transformation as it is today, I especially expect the local government to further promote the application of information technology to improve the quality of public services, reduce inconvenience and save time for the people.”
In Dur Kmal commune (established on the basis of merging Dur Kmal and Bang Adrenh communes), the spirit of solidarity, consensus and determination to act is spreading from each Party Committee and government to each cadre, Party member and citizen.

Village elder Y Hdun Hmok (Dur 1 hamlet) shared: “At first, I was hesitant about merging communes because I was worried about changes and cadres being far away from the people. But then I saw clearly that the main road was opened to the hamlet, children could go to school closer, and people could do paperwork without as much trouble as before. Everything was faster and clearer. I was no longer standing outside the common good, but I was going along, keeping up, and even going up if I was willing to study hard and keep my roots. As a revolutionary base hamlet, we hope that after the merger, authorities at all levels would pay more attention to investing in developing irrigation infrastructure to serve agricultural production; have more preferential policies on education, vocational training, and employment for ethnic minorities in difficult circumstances; and have more policies for people with meritorious services in the locality.”
