The General emphasized that over the past 75 years, since the establishment of diplomatic relations, Vietnam and China have always supported each other in the struggle for national independence and liberation, always learning from each other, and together moving forward to seek a socialist path suitable to each country's situation. The Party, State, Army and people of Vietnam always remember the strong support and great assistance of the Party, State, Army and people of China in the past national liberation, as well as in the cause of national construction and development today.
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hien affirmed that, on the basis of traditional friendship and political trust, Vietnam-China defense cooperation has always been one of the important pillars in the bilateral relationship. The two countries ' defense ministries have effectively implemented cooperation contents, increasingly going into depth, efficiency and substance. He believes that the two sides will continue to have new developments, bringing practical benefits to the people of the two countries, for peace, stability and development in the region and the world.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Ha Vi expressed his hope that the two countries' armies will always play a pioneering role in maintaining the stability of the relationship between the two Parties and the two countries; continue to improve the quality and effectiveness of cooperation in areas such as high-level exchanges, joint training, political work, etc. to promote the building of the China-Vietnam Community of Shared Future in greater depth and substance.

Colonel Jiang Ba, Chinese Defense Attaché to Vietnam, said that activities such as the Border Defense Friendship Exchange, the Joint Army Training "Joining Hands" and the establishment of a dialogue mechanism between the navy and coast guard have contributed to affirming that military cooperation is an important pillar in bilateral relations.
The leaders of both sides expressed their belief that with the political determination of the senior leaders of the two Parties and States, defense cooperation will continue to make breakthrough developments, contributing to peace, stability and development in the region as well as the world.
