On the morning of August 21, Saigon Zoo and Botanical Garden Company Limited coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association to hold a press conference to announce the art photography contest with the theme "The Beauty of Saigon Zoo and Botanical Garden".

The photography contest is part of a series of events celebrating the 160th anniversary of the establishment of Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens, aiming to record the beauty in all areas: labor activities, production, sightseeing activities, entertainment,education , the beauty of flora and fauna and the landscape of Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens.

Through the photo contest, the aim is to find typical photographic works to create a photo collection to display in the celebration of the founding anniversary of Saigon Zoo and Botanical Garden.

The contest is open to professional and amateur photographers nationwide, with submissions from September 1 to October 31, at the website: hoithinetdeptcv.saigonzoo.net.

Mr. Doan Hoai Trung, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association, shared: "Saigon Zoo is a green spot located right in the heart of the city, which is something that not every city in the country and the world has. Through the contest, we want to spread love and protect nature to everyone, and the Association's activities will be strengthened more on the side of Saigon Zoo to have many beautiful works of art spread to the public."
