At the end of the week, gold price fell close to 117 million VND/tael

On the weekend of June 7, domestic gold price decreased by nearly 1 million VND/tael in selling price, down to nearly 117 million VND/tael.

The company listed the price of SJC gold bars at 114.9 million VND/tael (buy) - 117.2 million VND/tael (sell), down 1.1 million VND/tael (buy) and 800,000 VND/tael (sell) compared to the end of the previous day.

The price of gold rings also dropped sharply. Saigon Jewelry Company Limited set it at 111.2 million VND/tael (buy) - 113.5 million VND/tael (sell), 800,000 VND/tael lower than yesterday.

Phu Quy Group reduced 500,000 VND/tael each way, down to 111 million VND/tael (buy) - 114 million VND/tael (sell).

Domestic gold prices fell sharply following world gold prices. At the end of the week, international gold prices fell by about 40 USD/ounce, down to 3,311.6 million VND/tael.

The converted world gold price is about 12.2 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.

Looking back at the domestic gold market, on the first day of the week of June 2, the price of SJC gold bars initially decreased by VND 700,000/tael (buying) and VND 500,000/tael (selling) to VND 115 million/tael (buying) - VND 117 million/tael (selling) then reversed, up to VND 115.8 million/tael (buying) - VND 117.8 million/tael (selling), which is VND 100,000/tael higher (buying) than the end of last week but VND 400,000/tael lower (selling).

Notably, the next day, the price of precious metals decreased by 900,000 VND/tael (buying) and 600,000 VND/tael (selling), down to 114.9 million VND/tael (buying) - 117.2 million VND/tael (selling).

After 1 day of stagnation, on June 5, the gold price increased by 500,000 VND, to 115.4 million VND/tael (buy) - 117.7 million VND/tael (sell) when the world price of precious metals increased.

On June 6, the gold price continued to increase by 600,000 VND/tael (buying) and 300,000 VND/tael (selling), to 116 million VND/tael (buying) - 118 million VND/tael (selling).

With the above developments, compared to last weekend, gold price decreased by 1 million VND/tael.
