Born and raised in Korea, a monk of the Jogye-yong sect, Venerable Haemin studied for a Master's degree in Comparative Religion at Harvard University and a PhD in Religion at Princeton University. Before returning to Korea in 2015, Venerable Haemin taught at Hampshire College, Massachusetts, USA. Along with many other experts, Venerable Haemin also participated in opening a Spiritual Therapy School to comfort and heal the mental wounds of many people, and at the same time provided free treatment to many people who were unfortunate in life. |
