After nearly 3 hours of searching on rugged terrain, the rescue team reached the group of 3 lost people. They were NTL, PTP (both 23 years old, both living in Nha Trang City) and HKL (24 years old, living in Ninh Hoa Town). All three were brought down the mountain safely by the police at around 20:45 the same day, in stable health.
Three tourists said they invited each other to climb Hoang Nguu Son mountain for an experience, but got lost on the way down the mountain and got stuck on the mountain.
Hoang Nguu Son Mountain, 972m high, located in Phuoc Dong Commune, Nha Trang City, is a destination chosen by many locals and tourists for mountain climbing and trekking. However, this place is also famous for its complex terrain, many difficult-to-recognize trails and difficult-to-access areas, requiring climbers to be well-prepared.

In recent years, many tourists have chosen the mountains around Nha Trang as a destination to experience and conquer, but there have also been many dangerous cases due to lack of experience or subjectivity.
The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force recommends that people and tourists should not climb mountains without a guide or necessary support equipment. At the same time, it is necessary to check the weather forecast, prepare health and equip themselves with basic knowledge of the terrain before participating in adventurous activities. Complying with the recommendations will help minimize unfortunate risks.
