On September 30, speaking with Thanh Nien reporter, Mr. Mai Xuan Hoa, Chairman of Hai Hau District Labor Federation, said that in the case of Hue Vina Company Limited owing workers' wages and insurance that occurred in the area recently, Hai Hau District People's Committee had fully reported to Nam Dinh Provincial People's Committee.
"Because the company is having problems with personnel, the director has returned to Korea, and the deputy director is entangled in legal issues, everything is being resolved slowly. I understand that up to now, the insurance company has implemented a plan to close the insurance books for the workers," said Mr. Hoa.

The Hai Hau District Labor Federation also sent a report to the Nam Dinh Provincial Labor Federation and proposed a plan to support the workers.
The first is to solve the immediate employment problem for nearly 100 workers. Accordingly, this unit has contacted a number of companies operating in the area, solving jobs for 80 workers.
Second, the Hai Hau District Labor Federation has coordinated to review the circumstances of each worker's household, focusing on coordinating to create conditions for the workers' children to not have their studies interrupted.
In addition, the Hai Hau District Labor Federation also proposed a separate support plan for workers in difficult circumstances.
As Thanh Nien reported, on September 14, the Hai Hau District Labor Federation received information that Hue Vina Company Limited suddenly stopped operating. Currently, the company owes over 7 billion VND in insurance money to more than 100 workers; at the same time, it owes workers about 1.5 billion VND in August salary and the first days of September.
Hue Vina Co., Ltd. is headed by Mr. Su Boong Soo (Korean nationality). The legal representative of the company is Mr. Tran Trong Dung, Deputy General Director of the company. However, Mr. Dung is involved in another case and is currently in detention. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, the company has encountered many difficulties, with no orders, operations suspended, and unlikely to recover.
The issue of Hue Vina Company Limited owing workers' wages and insurance is being resolved by the relevant agencies.
