To save people's houses from the risk of being buried by landslides, officers and soldiers of Ga Ry Border Guard Station coordinated with the authorities and local forces to discuss and agree on plans to move the above 7 houses to a safe place.

To move people's houses from areas at risk of being buried by landslides, rescue forces used large wooden bars as vertical and horizontal supports and jacks under the floor structure. The forces used wood and nails to anchor the house frame, floor and wall structure together to avoid displacement during the move; then mobilized forces, relying on the fixed wooden structures around the house, under the floor to carry each house to a safe location.

Party Secretary of Hung Son Commune Nguyen An said that with the participation of more than 150 people including officers and soldiers of Ga Ry Border Guard Station, police and military forces of Ga Ry Commune, youth volunteers and local people, by noon on September 30, all 7 houses in the area at risk of being buried by landslides in Put village had been moved to a safe place.
