Da Nang received emergency support of 100 billion VND from the Government

On November 1, the Office of the Da Nang City Party Committee informed that the Prime Minister has just decided to support 100 billion VND from the central budget reserve in 2025 for Da Nang city to meet immediate urgent needs and stabilize people's lives after floods.

Specifically, according to Decision No. 2427/QD-TTg dated November 1, 2025, the Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Finance to be responsible for the contents, data of reports and proposals, recommendations, ensuring compliance with the provisions of law. The People's Committee of Da Nang City is responsible for managing and using the above-mentioned additional funds, ensuring compliance with the provisions of the law on the State budget and other relevant legal documents. The Da Nang City Government needs to ensure the correct purpose of use, correct subjects, publicity, transparency, no loss or negativity; at the same time, report the results of use to the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and relevant agencies to synthesize and report to the Prime Minister.

Also on November 1, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, Pham Duc An, signed a decision to declare a natural disaster emergency to respond to and repair damage to traffic infrastructure on national highways and provincial roads under his management due to the impact of storm No. 12 and heavy rains caused since October 26 in the area.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City assigned the Department of Construction to immediately implement the work of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, handling traffic jams, ensuring traffic safety; and proposed the People's Committee of the City to decide on implementing an urgent project to prevent, combat, and overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

The People's Committee of Da Nang City also requested the Department of Finance to synthesize and advise on budget allocation for the Department of Construction to overcome the consequences of natural disasters. In addition, the People's Committee of Da Nang City also decided to spend 200 billion VND from the city budget to support people and respond to natural disasters...
