It is worth noting that in the three days before the landslide, the weather in the area was completely dry and sunny. Upon receiving the news, Ga Ry Border Guard Station immediately mobilized all officers and soldiers to approach the scene, deploying the "4 on-site" plan to organize search and rescue.
Speaking to the Government E-newspaper, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Son commune, Mr. Zo Ram Buon, said that the locality has coordinated with the police and border guards to organize the emergency evacuation of 70 households with more than 200 people living at the foot of the mountain and along the stream to a safe place.
