Speaking at the conference, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee Tran Thang Loi highly appreciated the efforts of the entire city's political system in joining hands to effectively implement social security policies, taking care of women and children to have a healthy, safe, friendly living environment, with conditions for physical and mental development, to study, participate in social, cultural and sports activities to minimize the conditions for crimes against women and children, crimes among minors, contributing to making Da Nang one of the "bright spots" in the effort to build a "4 safe" city.
The Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee requested that Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations continue to promote the achieved results; step up communication andeducation work to raise awareness, focusing on vulnerable groups and those at risk of causing violence. Strengthen the application of information technology, multimedia communications, and social networks to spread the message "Da Nang is safe, without violence against women and children"...
With a sense of responsibility, high political determination and close, synchronous coordination of all levels and sectors, Da Nang will continue to maintain and promote its position as a pioneer city in building a safe, equal and happy living environment for everyone, especially women and children.
This will also be the foundation for us to continue to do better in the coming time towards the goal of building Da Nang into a "livable city" for local people, a safe and friendly destination for tourists from all over the world and international friends", Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee Tran Thang Loi emphasized.
According to the report, after 5 years of implementing Directive No. 39-CT/TU, the work of preventing violence against women and children in the city has achieved many positive results. Awareness and responsibility of all levels and sectors have been significantly raised; many models of prevention and response to violence and abuse against women and children have been established, contributing greatly to the timely detection, denunciation and prevention of acts of violence and abuse.
Communication work to raise awareness is considered important by the entire political system and has created a strong change in the awareness and actions of all classes of people regarding the prevention and response to violence and abuse against women and children.
