According to the Da Nang Statistics Office, the total state budget revenue in the area by April 25, 2025 will reach nearly 11,000 billion VND, an increase of more than 20% over the same period in 2024; of which, the central budget revenue will reach more than 2,300 billion VND, and the local budget revenue will reach more than 8,600 billion VND.
Trade and service activities in Da Nang City continued to flourish in the first 4 months of 2025.
Revenue from foreign-invested enterprises accounted for more than 17%, up more than 19%; personal income tax was more than 15%, up more than 31%; revenue from houses and land was nearly 10%, up 2.5%; revenue from state-owned enterprises was 5.4%, up 1.6%. Revenue from import-export balance collection alone reached VND 734 billion, equal to 95.2% compared to the same period in 2024 (down more than VND 37 billion).
According to the Da Nang Statistical Office, in April, the total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue in the area was estimated at nearly 14,200 billion VND, up nearly 5% over the previous month and up nearly 32% over the same period in 2024. In the past 4 months, the total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue is estimated at nearly 52,000 billion VND, up 26.5% over the same period in 2024.
Trade and service activities in the city continued to flourish, with total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue maintaining high growth compared to the previous month and the same period last year. Domestic consumption demand, especially in the modern retail sector and essential goods groups, increased sharply, reflecting a solid recovery in purchasing power.
Notably, in addition to the two main areas of trade in goods and accommodation, catering and travel services, in April 2025, other consumer services in Da Nang continued to record strong growth, thanks to the rapid recovery of social demand, vibrant economic activities and a series of large-scale cultural, sports and tourism events.
Accordingly, revenue from other consumer services in April is estimated at over VND3,500 billion, up nearly 5% over the previous month and up more than 74% over the same period last year. In the past 4 months, revenue from this industry group is estimated at nearly VND12,000 billion, accounting for nearly 23% of the total and up more than 54% over the same period last year.
Most industry groups had high revenue growth compared to the same period last year, including real estate business services for final consumption (+106%); medical services and social assistance activities (+41%); arts, entertainment and recreation services (+39%);education and training services (+34.5%); other services (+27.5%); administrative services and support services (+13%).
This result shows a positive signal in the recovery and development of the city's economy, contributing significantly to maintaining a sustainable economic growth rate, towards the target of double-digit growth in 2025.
