On the morning of October 12, the delegation of groups 1, 2, 3, 4 of the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025-2030 visited the headquarters of Zalo (belonging to VNG Corporation, in Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone) and the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of History.
This field trip is important in helping delegates better visualize the scale, structure, identity and potential of Ho Chi Minh City after the merger.
At VNG Company, delegates visited the workspace and learned about advanced technology applications that bring convenience to users.
Mr. Le Hong Minh - Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of VNG - said that the unit was honored to welcome the delegation. He shared about VNG's development journey over the past 21 years, continuously creating and innovating, becoming one of the leading technology units in Vietnam.
“After the Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, the responsibility of each of us is to implement the Resolution of the City Party Congress in the most effective and earliest way, bringing it into life, joining hands to bring Ho Chi Minh City to sustainable development” - Mr. Duong Anh Duc, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, shared at the meeting.

At the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of History, delegates visited the exhibition space of precious artifacts. This is a permanent thematic exhibition space: Vietnamese history from primitive times to the Nguyen Dynasty, culture of ethnic groups in southern Vietnam and some Asian countries.
The Ho Chi Minh City Museum of History owns more than 40,000 artifacts with many unique and valuable collections. These collections originate from many countries and ethnic groups; materials and forms are diverse and rich.
Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of History - said the collections introduce Vietnamese history and culture from primitive times to 1945 and introduce unique cultural features in the southern provinces and some countries in the Asian region.

Before that, 12 delegations visited and experienced the Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien urban railway (metro No. 1); offered incense and flowers at the Hung Kings Memorial Temple and the Temple of Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh (in the National Historical - Cultural Park, Ho Chi Minh City).
The delegation was then divided into 3 groups to visit some locations and typical models of industrial economy , seaport services, financial centers, high-quality services, high technology, etc.
Delegates from groups 5, 6, 7, and 8 visited and exchanged with the Naval Region 2 Command, visited Gemalink port and Phu My 3 Industrial Park.
Delegation of groups 9, 10, 11, 12 visited Becamex Industrial Park, Binh Duong Exhibition and Convention Center.
Previously, on October 8, at the press conference to inform about the first Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Duong Anh Duc said that 550 delegates, including 110 ex-officio delegates and 440 appointed delegates, will attend the congress.
The congress is scheduled to hold a preparatory session on October 13, officially open on October 14 and last until October 15.
