People's Council delegates at two levels met with voters in Quang Son commune.

Delegates of Dak Nong Provincial People's Council and Dak Glong District met with voters of Quang Son Commune

At the meeting, delegates informed voters about the results of the 12th, 13th and 14th thematic sessions of the 4th Provincial People's Council; expected content and time of the upcoming 10th session.

Accordingly, from December 2024 to present, the Provincial People's Council has passed 27 important resolutions. The delegation announced the results of handling voters' opinions and recommendations after the 9th Session, and listened to and recorded new feedback from voters.

At the conference, voters of Quang Son commune raised 12 opinions, focusing on issues of land management, traffic infrastructure, clean water, waste treatment,education , environment and employment of non-professional officials.

Voter Nguyen Anh Duc, Quang Son commune, requested the commune government to resolutely handle the situation of pig farms causing environmental pollution.

Voter Nguyen Anh Duc reported that the environmental pollution caused by the Quang Son Livestock Company's waste discharge has caused serious odors, affecting the lives of people in Quang Tien village, Quang Son commune for many years but has not been completely resolved.

Voter Nguyen Duc Em, Bon N'ting, petitioned that the Dak N'ting dam was damaged and not repaired, while the Ba Trong dam, after repair, still lacked water, affecting people's production.

Voter Nguyen Duc Em, Bon N'ting, petitioned about the situation of Dak N'ting dam, which has been damaged for a long time but has not been repaired, causing difficulties in getting water for production. In addition, Ba Trong dam in Quang Son commune, although repaired, still cannot ensure the amount of water for production. Up to now, the water level has been lowered by nearly 1 meter, affecting many areas of cultivated land of the people.

Voter Giang Xuan Senh, Dak Snao village, requested strict handling of the situation of exhaust pipes and illegal racing in the commune.

Voters of Ban Van Dai, Bu Sir hamlet, Quang Son commune are concerned about support policies and necessary procedures when non-professional commune-level officials quit their jobs.

Voters of Ban Van Dai, Bu Sir village expressed concerns about the support policy for non-professional commune-level officials during the process of restructuring the apparatus, especially the necessary procedures and documents when leaving work.

Voter Nguyen Van Anh, Quang Hop village, reported that domestic water is contaminated and garbage is not collected regularly even though people still pay full fees.

Voter Nguyen Van Anh, Quang Hop village, reported that the clean water in the commune is contaminated and must be filtered frequently due to scum, affecting daily life. In addition, the problem of waste is causing frustration when collection is not done regularly, and waste floats during the rainy season even though people still pay monthly fees.

The leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Environment received comments on environmental pollution and damage to Dak N'ting Lake and committed to promptly reviewing and responding to voters.

Responding to comments, representatives of departments, branches and professional agencies of Dak Glong district acknowledged and said they would coordinate to inspect and verify to handle according to regulations.

Regarding the environmental pollution from the pig farm of Quang Son Livestock Company, the Department of Agriculture and Environment will conduct an inspection and clarify to find solutions. Regarding the landslide of Dak N'ting reservoir, the Department of Agriculture and Environment will include it in the remediation plan in the coming time to ensure water sources for production for the people.

Mr. Hoang Thai Tu, Vice Chairman of Quang Son Commune People's Committee received and specifically answered some opinions of voters.

Speaking at the meeting with voters, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Y Quang BKrong acknowledged, accepted and highly appreciated the frankness and responsibility of voters of Quang Son commune when reflecting urgent and practical issues.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the People's Committee of Dak Glong district and the government of Quang Son commune to closely coordinate with relevant departments and branches to promptly resolve recommendations within their authority.

The contents beyond the authority will be compiled by the provincial and district People's Council delegates, forwarded to the relevant agencies for consideration, and responded to in writing to the voters. The People's Council delegates at all levels will closely monitor the process of resolving the petitions to ensure the legitimate rights of the people.
