Gia Lai Provincial People's Council delegates meet voters of Ayun Pa town

(GLO)- On the afternoon of June 10, at the People's Committee of Song Bo ward (Ayun Pa town), delegates of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Council had a meeting with voters before the regular mid-year session of 2025 of the 12th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026.

The delegates of the Provincial People's Council of Ayun Pa town include Mr. Tran Quoc Khanh - Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Ayun Pa town; Ho Phuoc Thanh - Deputy Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office; Dang Thi Thanh Van - Head of the Town's Department of Culture - Science and Information chaired the meeting with voters.

At the meeting, the provincial People's Council delegates informed voters about the results of the 25th and 26th sessions (special sessions) of the 12th Provincial People's Council; expected content, program, and time of the regular mid-year session of the 12th Provincial People's Council in 2025; reported on the progress of implementing the arrangement of administrative units and the 2-level local government model; activities of the delegates and the People's Councils of the places where they are delegates, combined with responding to voters' opinions and recommendations at previous voter meetings.

With a democratic and frank spirit, voters had many opinions and recommendations sent to the provincial People's Council delegates; focusing on a number of contents such as: changing the land use purpose on some roads such as Ly Thai To, Tran Hung Dao to create conditions to promote the town's economic development; allocating funds to renovate sidewalks on roads to ensure urban aesthetics; strictly managing public land to prevent people from encroaching; opening Nguyen Viet Xuan road connecting with Nguyen Hue street; creating playgrounds for children in the summer; unifying the use of one set of textbooks for students; policies for cadres subject to reduction after the merger...
