- On September 5, the Provincial Tax Department held a conference to disseminate new tax policies, dialogue with taxpayers in the third quarter of 2024; award certificates of merit from the tax sector to taxpayers and coordinate the organization of training courses for the business community. The conference was attended by representatives of more than 160 businesses in the province.

At the conference, representatives of the Provincial Tax Department deployed a number of new tax policies related to detailed regulations for the implementation of a number of articles of the Land Law; extension of the deadline for payment of value added tax, corporate income tax, personal income tax and land rent in 2024; regulations on collection rates of a number of fees and charges to continue to remove difficulties and support production and business activities...

Representatives of financial and accounting consulting units conveyed some contents related to errors and risks of electronic invoices at the conference.

In addition, the Provincial Tax Department coordinated with relevant units to organize training courses for the business community with the following contents: identifying errors and risks in electronic invoices, corporate income tax, personal income tax and tax management for e-commerce and digital-based business.

At the conference, representatives of a number of businesses raised a number of recommendations and problems related to tax policies related to invoicing, value added tax, personal income tax deduction levels, etc.

The opinions and recommendations of business representatives were answered by tax authority representatives at the conference as well as written responses sent directly to the businesses.

The leaders of the Provincial Tax Department awarded certificates of merit from the General Department of Taxation to business representatives who successfully completed tax work in the province.

Since the beginning of 2024, with the close attention and direction of relevant levels and sectors, the proactiveness of tax authorities and the efforts and support of the business community, the province has made important contributions to the overall domestic revenue results in the province. Specifically, in the first 8 months of 2024, the total domestic revenue in the province was 1,937 billion VND, reaching 81.2% of the estimate, up 12.5% over the same period in 2023.
