Tan Tao University has another alumni passing the US residency exam

Doctor Luong Ngoc Tuyet Nhi - Former student of Course III of Medicine, graduation ceremony at TTU 2022

Following the success of Doctor Tran Trong Nhan (Course II), Doctor Tuyet Nhi has contributed to affirming the training quality of Tan Tao University. and opened up hope and opportunities for generations of Vietnamese medical students, who, after a period of study and training, have successfully passed the USMLE exam to enter the US residency system with strict requirements on knowledge, clinical skills and English ability.

Dr. Tuyet Nhi sent a letter to Professor, Dr. Thach Nguyen - Vice Principal, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Tan Tao University, the teacher who directly guided many research projects with teachers in the Faculty of Medicine : "I am pleased to announce that I have been accepted into my top choice Pediatric residency program at Geisinger Health System - Janet Weis Children's Hospital, Pennsylvania, USA.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the valuable support that Tan Tao University has given me throughout my studies. Dr. Tuyet Nhi has conquered the US residency program with highlights in her study, work and research:

1. Diverse clinical internship experience
From over 1,000 hours of work as an assistant in the emergency department and pediatric ICU at hospitals in Vietnam, to internships at hospitals in the United States. Through this, the doctor not only accumulated valuable practical experience but also successfully adapted to high-pressure clinical environments. Working in both Vietnam and the United States has shown the doctor's excellent adaptability to diverse healthcare systems.

2. In-depth scientific research

Dr. Tuyet Nhi has been continuously researching and has made many contributions to scientific research conferences on the medical field from Vietnam to Korea. The female doctor focuses on in-depth research in the fields of pediatric cardiology and lung cancer - specialties directly related to the residency program she is applying for. These research projects have clearly demonstrated her sharp analytical thinking and passion for contributing to the medical field.

3. Spirit of community service
Doctor Tuyet Nhi has clearly demonstrated the medical ethics of a physician through many meaningful volunteer activities such as providing free medical examinations for people in disadvantaged areas, participating in teaching English and actively supporting American medical delegations when they come to work in Vietnam.
