Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine has just announced the threshold to ensure input quality (floor score) for regular university admission in 2025 based on the method of considering high school graduation exam scores.
The score does not include priority points, is not multiplied by coefficients and does not distinguish between high school programs.
Accordingly, the majors of Ophthalmology, Public Health , and Nutrition have a minimum score of 16, the lowest at Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine.
The remaining majors accept applications from 17 points. The highest are Medicine and Dentistry, both taking 21 points.
Compared to 2024, the floor score in 2025 of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine will decrease by 1 - 2 points, according to high school graduation exam scores.

Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine this year recruits more than 1,900 students, using two methods: direct admission and considering high school graduation exam scores. In the case of many candidates with the same admission score, the secondary criteria is the order of preference, followed by the high school graduation exam score in Mathematics.
In addition to the traditional combinations B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology), B03 (Math, Literature, Biology), A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), this year candidates can use 2 combinations with English subjects: A01 (Math, Physics, English) and B08 (Math, Biology, English) to apply to the school.
The school notes that it does not use the results of exemption from foreign language exams in the high school graduation exam, and does not convert international certificates into English scores to include in the admission combination.
The highest standard score for the 2024 high school graduation exam of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine is 26.57 points in the Medical major. The Public Health major has the lowest standard score with 21.35 points.
