Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress online to 4 locations

(Dan Tri) - The 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee will be broadcast live on HTV9. In addition to the main connection point, the Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Officials, the Congress will connect to 4 connection points to record people's opinions.

On October 12, preparations for the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025-2030, at the central bridge point of the City Officials Academy were completed.

In recent days, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and working delegations have inspected and rehearsed the congress program and art program to welcome the opening of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress.

The 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025-2030, took place from October 13 to October 15. The preparatory session took place on October 13, the official session opened on the morning of October 14 and closed on October 15.

At this Congress, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Executive Committee allocated delegates from ward, commune, special zone and grassroots Party Committees to attend the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress based on the number of Party members and the characteristics and situation of the Party Committee. The Congress had 550 delegates, including 110 ex-officio delegates and 440 appointed delegates, divided into 12 groups.

According to the organizers, the Congress was broadcast live on HTV9. In addition to the central point at the Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Officials, the Congress's opening session was broadcast to four points including the People's Committee of Saigon Ward; the Party Committee of Di An Ward; the Party Committee of Tan Phuoc Ward and the Party Committee of Con Dao Special Zone. The points were organized to record people's opinions at Party organizations.

In addition to the main event of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, the City Academy of Officials will organize 3 exhibition spaces. In which, the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City will preside and coordinate with units to organize the exhibition "National strategic technology products in Ho Chi Minh City".

The exhibition gathered nearly 30 booths with more than 650 products and solutions belonging to 11 strategic technology groups. These are advanced technologies and solutions from leading corporations and enterprises, contributing to the formation of a smart and modern Ho Chi Minh City.

On the morning of October 12, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang and the delegation attending the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, term 2025-2030, visited typical economic , cultural - social, defense - security projects and models in the area.

After experiencing Metro Line 1 (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien), the delegation went to the Hung Kings Memorial Temple and the Temple of Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh in the National Historical - Cultural Park (Long Binh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) to offer flowers and incense.

The delegation then divided into groups to visit the VNG Campus building; Ho Chi Minh City History Museum; visit and exchange with the Naval Region 2 Command; visit Gemalink Port and Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park; Becamex Binh Duong Industrial Park; Binh Duong Ward Exhibition and Convention Center.
