On the morning of March 30, in Uong Bi City, Ha Long University held its 3rd Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term. This is one of the 3 congresses of the Provincial Party Committee. In the 2020-2025 term, with the spirit of solidarity and responsibility, the Party Committee of Ha Long University has led cadres, party members, civil servants and workers to overcome difficulties, promote advantages, and strive to achieve comprehensive results in the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 2nd Party Congress of the University. The Party Executive Committee of the University has succeeded in leading the building of the University into a united and unified collective, successfully completing assigned tasks. All aspects of Party building work have been carried out seriously in accordance with regulations. Compared to the first year of the term, the number of party members has increased by 1.5 times, of which students who are party members account for nearly 30%. To date, Ha Long University has organized 31 training majors, including 3 master's degree majors; 22 undergraduate majors; has trained nearly 12,000 university students, 5,000 college students, more than 1,400 intermediate art students; 700 international students and tens of thousands of students in regular training and development classes. Thereby, it has provided the labor market with nearly 10,000 students, actively contributing to the implementation of one of the three strategic breakthroughs set forth in the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Party Congress.

At the same time, striving to be a center for attracting training and fostering high-quality human resources, scientific research, and leading technology transfer in Quang Ninh province, the Northern region and the whole country; Aiming to become a prestigious applied university, a domestic and regional brand in the fields of: Tourism; Language; Engineering - Technology.
