Hap Linh Ward Trade Union: Flexible and creative in taking care of workers

BAC NINH - On the morning of October 18, Hap Linh Ward Trade Union held its First Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term. Attending the Congress were representatives of the Provincial Labor Federation; Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, and 72 delegates representing more than 3,000 union members in the area.

Hap Linh Ward has a natural area of ​​12.65 km2 with a population of over 22.6 thousand people. In the ward, there are 2 industrial clusters with many small and medium enterprises operating, attracting nearly 4 thousand workers. The ward union is currently managing and guiding 56 grassroots unions.

In recent times, under the leadership and direction of the Provincial Federation of Labor, local Party Committees and authorities, the activities of the Hap Linh Ward Trade Union have achieved many positive results. The work of caring for, representing, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers has been carried out promptly and practically, creating trust and attachment between workers and the organization.

Up to now, over 70% of enterprises in the ward have trade unions. Emulation movements have been widely launched, attracting a large number of union members and workers to participate, such as: "Good workers", "Promoting technical innovation initiatives", "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene"; over 90% of enterprises regularly organize periodic dialogues; 100% of workers' opinions and suggestions are promptly resolved...

In the 2025-2030 term, the Ward Union sets the goal of continuing to innovate the content and methods of operation in a flexible, creative and close-knit direction; promoting administrative reform, applying information technology in management and propaganda. The focus is on enhancing the role of representation, negotiation, and signing of collective labor agreements; developing union members, establishing grassroots unions and building strong organizations, actively participating in building a clean and strong Party and government.

In addition, the Ward Union focuses on improving the quality of propaganda and mobilization work; effectively organizing patriotic emulation movements and women's activities, contributing to building Hap Linh Ward into a modern, safe urban area rich in cultural identity by 2030...

The Congress announced the decisions of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and Inspection Committee of the Hap Linh Ward Trade Union, term I, 2025-2030; and to appoint 3 delegates to attend the 1st Bac Ninh Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030.

Comrade Cao Dinh Truong, Vice Chairman of the Ward Fatherland Front Committee, was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Hap Linh Ward Trade Union, Term I.
