The 1st Congress of Delegates of the Women's Union of Tay Yen Commune

On the afternoon of October 16, the Executive Committee of the Women's Union of Tay Yen commune (An Giang province) held the 1st Congress of delegates for the 2025 - 2030 term. Vice President of the Women's Union of An Giang province Le Thi Ngoc Dung attended and directed the congress.

In the period of 2021 - 2025, the Executive Committee of the Women's Union of Tay Yen commune implemented emulation movements and key tasks with many positive results. The Association developed 465 new members, reaching 110% of the resolution; every year, 100% of the branches are assessed to have completed their tasks well, achieving good grades or higher; helping 67 poor and near-poor households with women to escape poverty and registering to support 88/51 households to achieve the criteria of "5 no, 3 clean" sustainably.

The Congress set out 11 main targets; 2 breakthroughs in comprehensive digital transformation in the organization of the association, accompanying women to improve digital capacity and promoting women to start businesses, innovate, and enrich themselves legitimately.

The Congress announced the decision of the An Giang Provincial Women's Union to appoint an Executive Committee of 28 comrades, a Standing Committee of 8 comrades; and to appoint Ms. Le Thanh Nho to hold the position of President of the Vietnam Women's Union of Tay Yen commune for the 2025-2030 term.
