Congress of delegates of the Farmers' Association of Truc Ninh district for the term 2023-2028

On June 6, the Farmers' Association of Truc Ninh district held the 11th Congress of Delegates for the 2023-2028 term.

In the 2018-2023 term, the Association's work and the farmers' movement in Truc Ninh district have had positive changes, achieving important results. The movement "Farmers compete in good production and business, unite to help each other get rich and sustainably reduce poverty" has attracted a large number of members and farmers to compete in economic development, many households have become quite rich. In 2022, 11,953 households achieved the title of good production and business at all levels. In addition, the Association at all levels has actively mobilized and guided farmers to participate in developing collective economic forms. Up to now, the whole district has 19 cooperatives, 1 cooperative, 12 professional associations. Farmers' Association members have also participated in building 23 large fields with a total area of 855 hectares in 17/21 communes and towns; 1,009 hectares of land accumulation and concentration in 21/21 communes and towns; 793.21 hectares are linked according to the production - consumption chain of the district's key products; 36 products of members and farmers are evaluated and ranked as OCOP. In the construction of advanced and exemplary new rural areas, the Farmers' Association of 21/21 communes and towns has implemented a model of waste classification and treatment at households, contributing to protecting the bright - green - clean - beautiful rural environment. The Association at all levels has also promoted the mobilization of support for the "Farmer's Shelter" Fund; supported the construction of "Farmer's Shelter" houses and Great Solidarity houses for 12 farmer households in difficult circumstances in 12 communes and towns with a total amount of 930 million VND; awarded scholarships to encourage learning for children of poor farmer members who have overcome difficulties... Up to now, the poverty rate of the district in 2022 is about 1%...

In the 2023-2028 term, the Farmers' Association at all levels in Truc Ninh district strives to develop 250 new members/year; 95% of the bases and branches are good and strong. Every year, 60% or more of the farming households register to strive and 50% or more of the registered households achieve the title of good production and business at all levels; each Association base helps 1-2 farmer members in difficult circumstances to improve their living standards. 100% of members of cooperatives, cooperatives, branches, and professional farmer associations are guided and supported in digital transformation in production and product consumption. 100% of the Association bases and 80% of branches register and perform specific tasks to participate in environmental protection, adapt to climate change, contributing to building advanced, model new rural areas and civilized urban areas. The annual growth of the Farmers' Support Fund at all levels reaches over 10%./.
