The 1st Congress of Delegates of Phu Yen Ward Farmers' Association, term 2025 - 2030

On the morning of October 17, the Farmers' Association of Phu Yen ward held the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030.

Attending the congress were comrades: Tran Xuan Tuc, Provincial Party Committee member, Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of Phu Yen Ward People's Council; Vo Van Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association; and 105 official delegates.

Leaders presented flowers to congratulate the congress.

In recent times, the cadres and members of the Farmers' Association of Phu Yen Ward have strived to gradually transform the agricultural and rural structure. Programs and projects on transferring and applying science and technology to the fields of crops and livestock have been widely replicated. The Association also focuses on agricultural extension activities, guiding people to apply scientific and technical advances associated with the movement of good farmers, contributing to stabilizing life.

Up to now, the total sowing area in the ward is 1,322.6 hectares/year, reaching 100% of the plan; the total herd of cows is 2,350, reaching 102% of the resolution target; the total number of operating boats is 260; the annual catch of aquatic products is 3,240 tons, of which ocean tuna is 2,780 tons.

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Creativity - Development", the 1st Congress of the Farmers' Association of Phu Yen Ward determined the general direction for the 2025 - 2030 term as innovating the content and methods of operation, building a strong association; promoting the role of the subject and center of farmers in agricultural and rural development, contributing to building Phu Yen Ward to develop sustainably, civilized, and rich in identity. At the same time, the association also set out 17 targets, 5 key tasks and specific solutions.

The Executive Committee of the Farmers' Association of Phu Yen Ward introduced itself to the congress.

The Congress announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Phu Yen Ward Farmers' Association, term I, 2025 - 2030, consisting of 21 members; the Standing Committee consists of 7 members. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Van was appointed to hold the position of President of the Phu Yen Ward Farmers' Association, term I, 2025 - 2030.
