Training on social insurance and health insurance collection for nearly 220 new collection staff

On October 16 and 17, 2025, the Provincial Social Insurance (PSI) organized the first training conference for the collection staff of the Social Insurance and Health Insurance (SI) collection service organizations in 2025.

Attending the conference, nearly 220 new collection staff of Social Insurance and Health Insurance collection service organizations across the province were trained on the following topics: Procedures for collecting voluntary social insurance and family health insurance; basic knowledge of health insurance law and policy (rights of health insurance participants), basic knowledge of social insurance law and policy (rights of voluntary social insurance participants); instructions on installing and using the VSSID - Social Insurance number application, instructions on looking up social insurance codes and other information on the Vietnam Social Insurance Electronic Information Portal, instructions on electronic transactions and public services of the social insurance sector; skills in propagating social insurance and health insurance and persuading people to participate in social insurance and health insurance...

Along with that, the collection staff will take a test to assess their knowledge of social insurance and health insurance policies and will be granted a certificate of operation by the provincial Social Insurance when they meet the training requirements.

According to Deputy Director of the Provincial Social Insurance Ta Duc Hau, the team of social insurance and health insurance collection staff plays a very important role, acting as a "bridge" between the social insurance agency and the people, promptly spreading and bringing social security policies to all classes of people.

Organizing training for social insurance and health insurance collection staff, especially new staff, is a mandatory, regular and continuous requirement that the provincial Social Insurance maintains every year to ensure that the collection staff are fully equipped with the capacity, qualifications and skills to perform their duties, contributing to expanding coverage and improving service quality for the people.

The conference aims to promptly equip knowledge, foster skills and expertise in developing social insurance and health insurance participants for new collection staff, serving the work of exploiting, consulting and developing participants; procedures, expertise and processes of collecting social insurance and health insurance. Thereby, contributing to consolidating, perfecting and improving the quality of activities of Collection Service Organizations to meet the needs of people to learn, grasp information and participate in and enjoy social insurance and health insurance regimes and policies.

By the end of July 2025, the whole province had 21 Social Insurance and Health Insurance collection service organizations in operation, including: 14 units contracted by the Provincial Social Insurance and 7 units contracted by the grassroots Social Insurance with 1,343 collection staff distributed in almost all villages, hamlets and neighborhoods in the province.
