The 1st Congress of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee: Approving the list of the Presidium

VTV.vn - On the afternoon of September 23, 2025, at the Tuyen Quang Provincial Conference Center, the 1st Congress of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, held a preparatory session.

Attending the Congress were comrades: Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee; Le Thi Kim Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Council; Phan Huy Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee; Ma The Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the Congress.

Also attending were leaders of departments and bureaus under the Central Party Committees, the Central Inspection Commission , the Central Party Office; comrades in the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Party Executive Committee of Tuyen Quang province, and 415 official delegates, representing more than 136,000 party members of the entire Party Committee.

Comrade Ma The Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province, presented Document No. 22-TTr/TU dated September 16, 2025 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on introducing the Presidium, Secretariat and Qualification Examination Board of delegates to attend the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030. According to the Document, the Presidium consists of 22 comrades; the Secretariat consists of 3 comrades; the Qualification Examination Board of delegates consists of 5 comrades.

With a high spirit of unity, 100% of delegates voted unanimously to approve the list of the Presidium, Secretariat and Qualification Examination Board of delegates to attend the 1st Congress of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.

Comrade Pham Thi Minh Xuan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Tuyen Quang province presented Report No. 23-TTr/TU.

The Congress also heard the presentation of Document No. 23-TTr/TU dated September 16, 2025 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on the approval of the Program, Rules and Working Regulations of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh gave a directive speech at the preparatory session.

In addition, the Congress also listened to a report summarizing comments on draft documents submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party and discussed the content of these documents.

Tomorrow morning, September 24, the 1st Congress of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 will officially open. This is a political event of special importance to the Party Committee and the people of all ethnic groups in the province, organized at a time when the entire Party, people and army are striving to compete to achieve achievements to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party; an opportunity for the Party's will to blend with the people's hearts, demonstrating the determination to successfully implement the goals and orientations for national development until 2030, self-reliant, confident and steady in the new era.

Comrade Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Tuyen Quang province presented a report synthesizing opinions on the draft documents of the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The congress has the theme: "Promoting the tradition of the revolutionary homeland; continuing to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization and Party members; developing the economy and society rapidly and sustainably, closely linked with maintaining national defense, security and foreign affairs; accompanying the whole country in the era of national growth", with the motto: "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development".

General objectives of the Congress: Maintain solidarity, build a clean and strong Party and political system; strengthen national defense and security; promote potential, advantages, resources and new development space; ensure social security, improve people's lives. Tuyen Quang strives to become a fairly developed, comprehensive, sustainable province with high average income by 2030; by 2045, a developed province with high income in the midland and mountainous region of the North; self-reliant, confident in the new era, prosperous and happy development.

The congress will review the implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congresses of Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang provinces for the 2020-2025 term; determine directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term; and discuss and contribute opinions to draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.

On the morning of September 23, before entering the preparatory session, the Congress delegation offered incense and flowers at Na Nua Pavilion, Tan Trao Communal House, Uncle Ho Statue, the Memorial Site of President Ho Chi Minh and revolutionary predecessors at the Tan Trao Special National Relic Site.

The delegation took a souvenir photo at Uncle Ho's Monument.
