Hoang Huong case: Seizing 2 assets worth more than 300 billion VND to compensate for damages

The investigation agency has seized two assets of Hoang Huong, estimated to be worth more than 300 billion VND, to remedy the consequences and damages.

On the afternoon of November 8, at the regular October Government press conference, Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan - Chief of Office and spokesman of the Ministry of Public Security provided information related to the case of Hoang Huong, Ngan 98 - Luong Bang Quang.

Responding to questions from the press regarding the case of Hoang Huong, Ngan 98-Luong Bang Quang and many famous people on social networks selling poor quality products, even counterfeit goods, and tax evasion, Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan said that in October 2025, the police investigation agency initiated a case and prosecuted 6 suspects for the Hoang Huong case.

On October 27, 2025, through the extended investigation of the case, the investigation agency continued to prosecute one more defendant, Nguyen Thi Tuong An (born in 1993), with the crime of violating accounting regulations causing serious consequences.

According to Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan, this subject's actions were to assist Hoang Huong in concealing revenue and reducing taxes payable. The investigation agency has seized two assets of Hoang Huong, estimated to be worth more than 300 billion VND, to remedy the consequences and damages. Currently, the case is still under investigation and will be informed when there are new developments.

Regarding the case of Ngan 98 and Luong Bang Quang, Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan informed that the investigation agency has prosecuted 3 suspects for 3 acts: Producing and trading in fake food products; giving bribes and brokering bribes. The case is still under investigation and clarification, the Ministry of Public Security will continue to inform when there are results.
